- ROASTED MODIFIED ESQUIRE NECK: The Fender Roasted Modified Esquire neck is a 1-piece roasted maple neck with an early 50’s thick “U” shape from the earliest days of Fender electric guitars. Roasted maple provides more sustain and adds a unique note to the instrument’s voice
- EARLY 50’S “U” NECK PROFILE: Chunky and rounded, with high shoulders, deep U-shaped necks are good for players with large hands, and players more comfortable with their thumb on the back or side of the neck
- RADIUS AND FRETS: A 9.5"-radius roasted maple fingerboard and 22 narrow-tall frets for easy bending
- SATIN URETHANE FINISH: A silky-smooth satin urethane back finish for faster movement up and down the neck
- AUTHENTIC BONE NUT: The (1.650" width) bone nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing. A bone nut provides superior sustain and tone transfer.
