• Drawn From History: The Hammershoi series takes its rounded, full-bodied form directly from Svend Hammershoi's original vase shapes, which defined Kahler's workshop from 1893. Hans-Christian Bauer kept that generous silhouette and added the deep vertical grooves that now run across every object in the range.
• Grooved Stoneware Body: The grooves run the full height of the vase from base to collar, hand-shaped in stoneware with a depth and definition that gives the glaze room to shift in tone as it settles into each furrow and rises across each ridge.
• Generous Vase Scale: At 8.3 inches tall and 6.7 inches in diameter, it holds a generous stem arrangement or stands alone as a design statement on a shelf, dresser or side table. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, not dishwasher safe.
