• Ireland's Linen Flower: Flax was cultivated across Ireland for centuries as the source of linen, one of the country's primary farming industries before emigration changed the landscape. The flowers painted by hand in pastel purple with yellow centers are the same flax blooms still growing wild in Irish hedgerows today.
• Ivory Parian Body: Belleek's ceramic takes its name from the marble of the Greek island Paros, producing a pearl-like ivory surface lighter and more translucent than standard bone china. Cast in that ceramic, this vase measures 8.9cm wide by 17.8cm tall and passes through 16 pairs of hands; any piece failing inspection is destroyed, not sold.
• Embossed Flax Pattern: This vase belongs to Belleek's Irish Flax collection. Embossed scrollwork covers the pearl ivory body, with purple flax blooms and green vine detail at the centre. A three-leaf shamrock at the shoulder carries the symbol Saint Patrick used in the 5th century to explain the Trinity, and a gold band rings the neck.
