• PERFECT "THUMP" RESPONSE: this beater delivers punchy low end tone on a cajon that's dialed-in for playing with an acoustic band; it brings out warmer bass notes with softer attack than standard kick drum beaters
• WHY IT MATTERS: standard kick beaters will likely crack a thin wooden cajon frontplate, and they'll have a much brighter sound; Meinl Cajon Beaters are made specifically to draw out a deep, well-rounded "thud" while not damaging your cajon
• DRIVING THE SOUND: the beater head is made with soft, dense foam rubber; this spongey material naturally produces warm mid-range with a nice soft kick
• ONE BIG THING: equipped with two brass jingles that give your bass notes a light blend of tambourine highs; turn these jingles "on and off" with the mechanical knob
• ZOOM IN: the flat surface makes flush contact with your cajon; this gives the beater a wider impact area to spread energy out and avoid putting too much pressure on sensitive cajon frontplates
