• Converts 10/100 Ethernet over copper to 100Base-FX multimode fiber, adding fiber capability to Fast Ethernet links while maintaining 100 Mbps network performance.
• Includes one 10/100 RJ45 port with auto-negotiation and Auto MDI/MDI-X, plus one duplex SC multimode fiber port for straightforward copper-to-fiber connections.
• Supports copper cable runs up to 328 ft and multimode fiber links up to 1.24 miles using 1310 nm wavelength on 62.5/125 or 50/125 μm fiber cable.
• Front-panel LEDs show power, link and activity for both ports, 100 Mbps RJ45 link speed, optical signal input, and full or half duplex status for quick connection checks.
• Compact metal housing measures 4.2 x 2.8 x 1.0 in. for desktop, wall-mount, or media converter chassis installations where space is limited.
• Supports IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u standards, flow control, and jumbo frames up to 1.6 KB for compatibility with Fast Ethernet network environments.
• Can be used as a stand-alone converter or with the 14-slot media converter chassis model 507356; includes an external 5V DC power adapter and is NDAA compliant.
