• BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Watts Lead-Free Brass Residential Dual Check Valve Backflow Preventer is ideal for non-health hazard residential water system containment. It is designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to back-siphonage and/or backpressure at the service entrance or at individual outlets.
• COMPREHENSIVE FEATURES: This 1" x 3/4" preventer is equipped with everything needed to efficiently prevent the backflow of water: female meter thread swivel inlet by union female NPT outlet, two plastic replaceable check valves, and stainless steel springs.
• DURABLE DESIGN: This preventer is constructed with a highly durable lead-free brass body, ensuring long-lasting performance and compliance with industry standards. Its compact construction ensures it can be easily handled during installation. Its minimum working pressure is 10 psi (69 kPa) with a maximum working pressure of 175 psi (12 bar).
• VERSATILE APPLICATIONS: Meeting ANSI/ASSE Standard 1024, this preventer is used for residential water system containment or for continuous pressure applications and is to be installed immediately downstream of the residential water meter. It can be installed vertically or horizontally.
