• BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Watts Dual Check Valve Backflow Preventer is ideal for non-health hazard applications in continuous-pressure piping systems, at cross-connections and at service line entrances. It is designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to back-siphonage and/or backpressure.
• FOR BEVERAGE MACHINE: Capable of handling continuous or intermittent pressure applications, this backflow preventer is designed for carbonated beverage machines and is specifically ideal for use on post-mix carbonated beverage equipment and dispensing equipment for tea and coffee.
• COMMERCIAL GRADE PERFORMANCE: Equipped with internal rubber components, this 3/8" backflow preventer includes an atmospheric port that provides visual indication of failure of the second check, as well as a wye strainer. It also has female NPT inlet x SAE male flare outlet connections and can be installed either vertically or horizontally.
• DURABLE DESIGN: This preventer is constructed from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability. It has a maximum temperature of 130 degreesF (54 degrees C) and can handle a maximum pressure of 150 psi (10.3 bar). Keeps water protected in high temperatures and pressures.
